Complicated Movement Overhaul

Frequently asked
How long does each service take?
An inspection is usually complete within two to three working days. A full strip-and-rebuild typically takes one to two weeks. Complicated movement overhauls are scheduled individually; we give you a timeframe when we share the costed plan.
Do you service all watch brands?
We work on most Swiss and Japanese mechanical movements — automatic and manual winding. For quartz movements, please contact us first. We will be straightforward if a particular caliber is outside our current scope.
What happens if parts need to be replaced?
If a worn or damaged component is found during service, we will contact you, note the part, its source, and the cost before ordering anything. Parts are only replaced once you have confirmed.
Can I send my watch by post?
Yes. We accept pieces sent by insured post or courier. Contact us first so we can confirm arrival and agree on packaging requirements. We will confirm receipt and condition when the watch arrives.
Is there a warranty on service work?
We stand behind our workmanship. If a timing issue arises within twelve months of a full service that is related to the work performed, bring the piece back and we will look at it without charge.
How are prices calculated?
Our three service tiers have published prices. For the complicated overhaul, the final figure depends on the caliber, condition, and any additional parts. We share a written estimate beforehand so there are no surprises.
